I finished up my first large canvas that Joel got me for Christmas. I like it, but I’m learning to love it. Like new shoes, or a new house. I am trying to make it truly my own. I struggled with the technical aspects and now I want it to communicate. It’s called the Way because I feel it has a quality of stepping right in. It is not fast, or action packed. It is not a busy place, or exciting; it’s lovely and solitary, but it is a road open and out there for you. There is a path for the next stage, the next chapter of life, I’m having a hard time finding mine. Maybe this piece was part of that soul searching. I feel it’s a beginning to many good things.
